Illumination

Life ever in illumination

though

the sun, gone  west, is faded

darkness surrounds

night abounds

but two lovers are united

by the flickering light

of a candle

that breaks the loneliness

of the night

and gives comfort ever bright

in its illumination

dawn is many hours away

yet does darkness

hold sway?

not for the lovers

when wick has no more flame

for their love

burns in the darkness

and the sweet shining light

invisible to the eye

gives to heart and soul

The beauty of the misty morning sky

greets me..with your love

enveloping me in your tender embrace

As my Beloved one calls...I can

almost see his face

Beloved, it is your voice I hear..

as it comes to me...across the distance...

and upon the breeze...

bidding me to come near..

I hear you say to me...

Take no thought...for I am here

In this place of beauty, glory divine

I am yours, and you are mine....

Forever in love we will be

Side by side...we go into eternity.
